Happy New Year Lovelies!! Lately, I’ve been feeling really inspired, so I thought it’d be nice for my first blog post of the new year to be a prayer that’ll hopefully help catapult us into actively living our dreams. This prayer is specifically for The Dreamers who, like me, are hoping that 2018 will be warm enough to incubate their dreams in.

Dear God, thank you for this day and new year full of new opportunities and excitement.  Thank you for everything that 2017 consisted of. Thank you for its joyous moments. Thank you for its trying moments. Thank you for its moments that were simply just okay, for we know that you used all of these moments combined to form us into the people that we needed to be stepping into 2018. Lord, please allow 2018 to be purposeful for us. Allow us to sow seeds of dreams into this new year that will blossom into visual representations of our hearts’ greatest desires.  Lord, allow us to have more faith, for our dreams cannot grow without being watered by it. Help rid our minds of fear and doubt and instead, allow us to place our hope in you. Please, protect our thought processes, for our minds are powerful things. Deaden negative thinking that will toxify our soil. Patience God; please equip us with plenty of patience. Sometimes it’s easy for us to be engulfed in the world’s timing, but Lord, we want our garden to run on your timing, so in times that we try to rush our dreams, help us be still enough to feel your guidance and quiet enough to hear your voice. Lord, bless all of us who dream. Continue to speak to us through our dreams, goals and ambitions. Finally, help us to remember that our faith must be accompanied by our works, so please, bless those of us who were only dreamers in 2017. This year, not only do we want to be dreamers, but we also want to be doers. Thank you, God, for everything you’ve done for us. Thank you for everything you’ve been to us,  and thank you for everything you have planned to do through us. Amen.

Let’s get to work Lovelies! Our dreams are waiting to be reaped, but first, they must be sowed.
